Results of the multivariable logistic analysis, which incorporated age, gender, and all the metabolic factors from Table 2 into the study, showed that gender, age, BMI, central obesity, hypertension, impaired fasting glucose (IFG)/diabetes mellitus (DM), TG, LDL-C, HDL-C, HUA, ALT, and cholelithiasis were all independently correlated with the risk of NAFLD in the whole population (Table 3).
