Serum TET3 level in cirrhosis cases (median 1148.09, range 362.64–1451.11 ng/mL) was significantly higher than that in hepatitis (median 268.10, range 133.97–900.56 ng/mL) and controls (median 127.58, range 96.99–163.7 ng/mL), respectively. Here, TET3 is linked to hepatitis A virus infection.
