In the last decade, three types of new target drugs showed efficacy and safety against ALCL: the antibody–drug conjugate directed against the CD30 + antigen expressed on the surface of activated B and T lymphoma cells, the first and second generation ALK oncoprotein inhibitors in the context of ALK positive lymphomas, and the monoclonal antibodies against the PD-1 receptor and ligand. The gene discussed is TNFRSF8; the disease is anaplastic large cell lymphoma.
