In the tumor, SIY-specific CD8 T cells are highly enriched for a CD62L−Ly6C− population while the peripheral SIY-specific T cells have a mixture of Ly6C−CD62L+ and Ly6C+CD62L+ cells consistent with a range of central memory T cells phenotypes recirculating through secondary lymphoid organs (Fig. 2a).
