As before, mice were treated with anti-CD40L or anti-CD4 at tumor implantation (Supplementary Fig. S6a), which represented the priming event, resulting in appropriate decreases in peripheral blood CD4 T cells with anti-CD4 treatment (Supplementary Fig. S6bi), no impact on CD8 T cell numbers (Supplementary Fig. S6bii), and decreased numbers of tumor-specific T cells with anti-CD40L treatment (Supplementary Fig. S6biii).
