By multivariable analysis, adjusting for patient age at surgery, tumor size and grade, lymph node status, and sTIL scores, high levels of intraepithelial CD40 [HR: 0.51 (0.28, 0.9), p = 0.032], HLA-DR [HR: 0.51 (0.29, 0.91), p = 0.023], and CD11c [HR: 0.57 (0.32, 0.99), p = 0.048] were associated with improved HR, with CD56 falling just short of statistical significance [HR: 0.62 (0.37, 1.03), p = 0.063]. This evidence concerns the gene NCAM1 and neoplasm.
