Similarly, Wang et al. found that circMAPK14 was expressed at low levels in colorectal cancer tissues, and its encoded protein MAPK14‐175aa, which reduced the phosphorylation of MAPK14 by competitively binding MKK6, inhibited MAPK14 nuclear translocation, and induced the ubiquitination‐related degradation of FOXC1, which depends on MAPK14 blockade. Here, MAPK14 is linked to colorectal cancer.
