Furthermore, somatic genomic alterations in serine/threonine kinase 11 (STK11) or kelch like ECH associated protein 1 (KEAP1) commonly co-occur with KRAS mutations in NSCLC (25–30%) [14], and co-mutation of KRAS with STK11 or KEAP1 is associated with significantly worse survival [14–16].
