Since Taz treatment alone did not appreciably alter EZH2 and EZH2T367p levels, these results support the dominant effect of B32B3 over Taz and point to DCAF1-mediated EZH2T367p as a key determinant for H3K27me3-induced oncogenic gene silencing in colon cancer. The gene discussed is EZH2; the disease is malignant colon neoplasm.
