OCLN and infection: Based on GFP signals, OCLN knockdown resulted in significant inhibition of the ability of rVSV-eGFP-S virus to infect and replicate in Vero-E6 cells and A549-hACE2 cells relative to controls with a normal OCLN content (Fig. 6A), which is consistent with the findings observed with SARS-CoV-2-mNG infection (Fig. 2 A and E).
