Table 4 summarizes the regulatory mechanisms of p53 on atypical ferroptosis. We found that upregulation of p53 enhanced the production of ROS, medicated lipid and iron-mediated cell death, and increased proliferation. We compared these outcomes with p53 inactivation and the resulting status regarding osteosarcoma-related ferroptosis (Table 4). Here, TP53 is linked to osteosarcoma.
