TP53 and osteosarcoma: Figure 8 is a schematic representation of the floated p53 activation; Table 5 corroborates the scope provided in the Figure 8 by indicating that cell death is downregulated when osteoblast proliferation is initiated. The latter reflects p53’s down-regulatory function achieved when the processes enhancing proliferation are down-scaled. In addition, the upregulation of p53 directly antagonizes the activity of SLC7A11 (Liu et al., 2022). The direct antagonism of SLC7A11 enhances ferroptosis in osteosarcoma (Table 6).
