Several studies (Yang and Zhang, 2013; Van Maerken et al., 2014; Komori, 2016; Leroy et al., 2017; Saraf et al., 2018; Schiavone et al., 2019; Pang et al., 2020) have reported that the inactivation of p53 inhibits cell proliferation and subsequently downregulates atypical ferroptosis in osteosarcoma. This evidence concerns the gene TP53 and osteosarcoma.
