The disease of T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia can be caused by mutations in the Janus kinase 3 (JAK3) gene, activity inhibition of which is found to link with abnormal higher phosphorylation level of CMTR1, another type of 2’-O-methyltransferase (Dimitrova et al., 2019). Here, JAK3 is linked to T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
