Co-treatment with ATO+Cu2+ and treatment with high dose of ATO significantly reduced both NQO1 and GCLC gene expression compared to the HOCl-SSc-mice, by 98% and 99%, respectively, for NQO1 and by 79% and 88%, respectively, for GCLC (p<0.001 and p<0.05, respectively, for NQO1; p<0.01 and p<0.01, respectively, for GCLC). This evidence concerns the gene NQO1 and systemic sclerosis.
