In intestinal diseases (40), IL-12 elicits ILC1s to switch into ILC3s, whereas IL-1 plus IL-12 collaboratively induces ILC2s to convert into ILC1s in respiratory diseases, and overactivation of the IL-17 and IL-22 pathways results in escalation of NCR+ ILC3s in patients with psoriasis (51–53). This evidence concerns the gene IL22 and intestinal disorder.
