FGFR2 and neoplasm: To further validate its function during tumor progression, we overexpressed Fgfr2 in MDA-MB-231 (231) cells (Fig. 6G) and 231-shBrca1 cells (Fig. 6H), and the results showed that overexpression of Fgfr2 could dramatically activate tumor cell growth and downstream targets, regardless of whether Brca1 was wild-type (Fig. 6G, I) or knocked down (Fig. 6H, J).
