AKT1 and breast cancer: According to in vivo and in vitro studies, DT-13, isolated from the Dwarf lilyturf tuber, inhibits the phosphorylation levels of STAT3 and AKT in breast cancer cells (DA-MB-231 and MDA-MB-468) and reduces the expressions of the Procollagen-lysine, 2-oxoglutarate 5-dioxygenase 2 (PLOD2), and two receptors (Gp130 and OBR) by inhibiting the JAK/STAT3 and PI3K/AKT signaling pathways (He et al., 2019b).
