Erlotinib/ginsenoside Rg3 treatment increases the protein levels of caspase-3, caspase-9, and PARP while decreasing those of p-EGFR, p-PI3K, and p-Akt in pancreatic cancer cell lines and BALB/c nu/nu male mice by inhibiting the EGFR/PI3K/Akt signaling pathway (Jiang et al., 2017a).
