KCNJ2 and heart disorder: Here we performed a comprehensive characterization of morphological and functional changes in KCNJ2 OE iPSC-CMs to assess the effects of KCNJ2 on the maturation of iPSC-CMs.iPSC-CMs have been widely used for modeling cardiac disease phenotypes and accurately evaluating the cardiotoxicity of potential therapeutic compounds, thus providing a novel tool that can bridge some of the gaps between animal-based models and adult human cardiomyocytes [7, 26, 27].
