We found that ARHGAP39 expression was linked to drug sensitivity in HCC patients; that is, patients with ARHGAP39 overexpression were resistant to 28 drugs, particularly sunitinib, etoposide, and clofarabine, but sensitive to austocystin D. It has to be said that the influence of ARHGAP39 in the therapy of HCC patients, which is closely correlated with the resistance of HCC patients to therapeutic drugs, is worthy of further exploration. The gene discussed is ARHGAP39; the disease is hepatocellular carcinoma.
