Previous researches have shown that YKT6 has emerged as a critical protein implicated in multitudes of trafficking events.[2,22] Recently studies have also revealed that YKT6 has been involved in the progression of several cancers, including NSCLC, HCC, PAAD, BRCA, and OSCC.[8–13] It remains to be answered that whether YKT6 can play an important role in the progression of different types of cancers via certain common molecular mechanisms. Here, YKT6 is linked to hepatocellular carcinoma.
