Taken together, our findings strongly suggest that immature ginger has potential anti-obesity effects in 3T3-L1 cells through suppressing adipogenesis via down-regulating expression of C/ebpβ and C/ebpδ, and lipogenesis via down-regulating expression of Acc and Pepck genes. Here, CEBPB is linked to obesity due to melanocortin 4 receptor deficiency.
