Kagara et al. revealed an association between ZIP10, cell infiltration, and the metastasis of human breast cancer cells, and they used the real-time quantitative PCR technique to confirm that the breast cancer tissues in patients with lymph node metastasis showed a significantly higher ZIP10 mRNA expression level than the breast cancer tissues in those without metastasis. The gene discussed is SLC39A10; the disease is metastatic malignant neoplasm in the lymph nodes.
