TOP2A is overexpressed in various human malignancies, including primary breast cancer, lung cancer, hepatocellular carcinoma, nasopharyngeal carcinoma, adrenal cortex, and colon cancer, indicating that TOP2A is an important drug target and a potential biomarker for these cancers [22,23,24,25,26,27,28].
