Furthermore, CYP exposure in the allergic pneumonitis rats resulted in more increase (p < 0.003) in MUC5AC and p38 gene expression (Figure 2b,c, respectively); meanwhile, the IL-13 and STAT6 (Figure 2a,d, respectively) showed a further decrease (p < 0.05), in comparison to the allergic pneumonitis-only group. The gene discussed is MUC5AC; the disease is hypersensitivity pneumonitis.
