Recently, numerous biomarkers, including EGFR, ALK, KRAS, TP53, and others, have provided NSCLC patients with important advantages in a broad range of clinical decisions, such as target therapy, immunotherapy, and prognosis evaluation, and have also strengthened our recognition of the biological properties and functions of NSCLC [13,14]. This evidence concerns the gene KRAS and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
