ZNF750 and prostate carcinoma: Interestingly, the bioinformatics analysis indicates that the promoter region of the ZNF750 gene is significantly hypermethylated (p = 4.58 × 10−9) in patients affected by prostate cancer, suggesting that one possible mechanism responsible for the downregulation of ZNF750 in cancer is the methylation of the promoter (Figure 4C).
