Based on our previous demonstration that NUSAP1 overexpression increases prostate cancer cell invasion, migration, and metastasis [2,31,32], we focused on identifying its protein-binding partners using the AP-MS analysis approach outlined in Figure 1A. We selected 293T cells because of the high transfection efficiency and their tolerance to NUSAP1 overexpression. This evidence concerns the gene NUSAP1 and prostate cancer.
