Based on our previous demonstration that NUSAP1 overexpression increases prostate cancer cell invasion, migration, and metastasis [2,31,32], we focused on identifying its protein-binding partners using the AP-MS analysis approach outlined in Figure 1A. We selected 293T cells because of the high transfection efficiency and their tolerance to NUSAP1 overexpression. The gene discussed is NUSAP1; the disease is prostate carcinoma.
