Similarly, no significant effects of smoking status or TP53, EGFR or KRAS mutations were observed, with the possible exception of reduced TLS and B cell signatures in tumour regions with subclonal TP53 mutations in this cohort (Extended Data Fig. 9b), although marked elevation of plasma cells in patients with LUAD with a smoking history was recently reported6. The gene discussed is KRAS; the disease is neoplasm.
