The novel personalized scoring system, based on biomarker of inflammation, i.e., high-sensitivity–reactive protein (hs-CRP), impaired left ventricular (LV) relaxation assessed as higher left ventricular diastolic diameter (LVDD), early predictor of LV systolic dysfunction, i.e., global longitudinal peak strain (GLPS) and a measure of the metabolic efficiency of the heart muscle, i.e., oxygen pulse (VO2/HR), in HF patients, is an easily available and effective tool and could be taken into account in the assessment prognosis of HF patients in the future. Here, CRP is linked to hydrops fetalis.
