Recently, a drug called sotarasib, which targets the KRAS G12C mutant, received the FDA approval for treatment in non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), and several investigational clinical trials are evaluating this drug for the treatment of mCRC patients harboring KRAS G12C and other mutations at codons 12 and 13. This evidence concerns the gene KRAS and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
