Oncogenic driver fusions caused by chromosomal rearrangement, such as echinoderm microtubule-associated protein-like 4-anaplastic lymphoma kinase (EML4-ALK) and CD74-c-ros oncogene 1 (CD74-ROS1), are known to play important roles in tumorigenesis and progression in NSCLC [5].
