Tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC) is an inherited neurocutaneous disorder caused by mutations in <i>TSC1</i> or <i>TSC2</i> genes, with patients often exhibiting neurodevelopmental (ND) manifestations termed TSC-associated neuropsychiatric disorders (TAND) including autism spectrum disorder (ASD). This evidence concerns the gene TSC1 and neurocutaneous syndrome.
