Elevated levels of sIL-2R in serum (40.0 vs. 5.0%, p = 0.007) and CSF (38.1 vs. 0.0%, p = 0.002) as well as elevated serum CRP (25.9 vs. 0.0%, 0.014) showed a strong association with neurosarcoidosis compared to MS (Table 6). This evidence concerns the gene CRP and neurosarcoidosis.
