We evaluated the concentration of anti-inflammatory cytokines (IL-4, IL-10, TGF-ß1, TGF-ß2, TGF-β3 and IL-13), pro-inflammatory cytokines (IL-1β, IL-1ra, IL-2, IL-6, IL-8, IL-15, IL-17A, TNFα and IFNγ), chemokines (CCL2, CCL3, CCL4, IP-10, CXCL12, CCL5, CTACK and CXCL9) and granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor (GM-CSF) in HSP samples of three pools from 12 HIV negative fertile, from 21 HIV negative random or from 14 HIV positive donors. This evidence concerns the gene CCL4 and hereditary spastic paraplegia.
