NRAS and metastatic melanoma: Several genes’ mutations were found to be a good prognostic marker for human cancer; examples include mutated KRAS that was correlated with poor prognosis of pancreatic (Buscail et al., 2020) and lung cancer (Shen et al., 2017) and mutated NRAS that was correlated with poor prognosis of metastatic melanoma (Jakob et al., 2012).
