GSTM1 and Ascites: A case series study from Thailand reported six cases of patients with homozygous Hb C.S. The diagnosis was made by performing cordocentesis after the ultrasound anomaly scan indicated cardiomegaly, increased cardiothoracic diameter, high middle cerebral artery peak systolic velocity (MCA-PSV), and various degrees of hepatic and placental enlargement, and also some hydropic signs such as ascites.
