Chimeric antigen receptor T-cell therapy (CAR-T) has displayed effectiveness in several hematologic malignancies and despite being in the early days of investigation in the field of BPDCN, it led to the development of CD28/4-1BB anti-CD123 which demonstrated a sustained complete response (CR) in a single patient with recurrent BPDCN after allogeneic HSCT. Here, CD28 is linked to hematologic disorder.
