A study by Weill et al. reported the data from 12 lung cancer patients (six LSCC cases and six lung adenocarcinoma cases) who underwent intratumoral injection of recombinant human p53 adenovirus under bronchoscopy, which found that the airway obstruction of 50% patients was relieved, and three cases in the 12 patients were partially relieved [21]. The gene discussed is TP53; the disease is lung adenocarcinoma.
