In gastric cancer, MIAT promotes the metastasis of cancer cells by mediating the expression of miR-141 [39]; in ovarian cancer, MIAT is involved in modulating the invasive process of cancer cells [40]; and in breast cancer cells, lncRNA TINCR and MIAT can regulate cell invasion, proliferation, and apoptosis [41,42]. The gene discussed is MIAT; the disease is ovarian carcinoma.
