The proportion of intermediate metabolizers (IM) (49.3% vs. 42.9%), poor metabolizers (PM) (14.3% vs. 8.9%) (P < 0.001), and CYP2C19*2 allele (33.8% vs. 25.7%, P < 0.001) in hypertension group was significantly higher than that in control group. Here, CYP2C19 is linked to hypertensive disorder.
