Although surgical method had no significant effect on breast cancer-specific mortality (p=0.210, p=0.227, respectively in univariate and multivariable Cox model analysis), T stage (p=0.001, p=0.004, respectively in univariate and multivariable Cox analysis), molecular type (p=0.003, p=0.042, respectively in univariate and multivariable Cox analysis), and Ki-67 expression (p=0.022 in univariate Cox analysis) were all significantly associated with breast cancer-specific death. Here, MKI67 is linked to breast cancer.
