The findings suggested that EREG may play a role in a number of cancer-related molecular pathways, including those involving the EGFR biological process, the extracellular matrix structure, the interaction between cytokines and their receptors, and the PI3K-AKT, JAK-STAT, MAPK, and NK-B intracellular biological processes (Figures 3, 4A–C). This evidence concerns the gene EREG and cancer.
