While STAG2 mutations are part of the genomic landscape of Ewing’s sarcoma and have been implicated in sensitivity to PARP inhibitors, it is not a mutation that is frequently observed in other pediatric cancer types and therefore does not explain or predict the sensitivity observed in Ewing’s sarcoma and other pediatric cell lines lacking this mutation [26, 27].
