HK2 has been shown to be upregulated in a wide range of human cancers, including hepatocellular carcinoma, breast cancer, gallbladder cancer, colorectal cancer, endometrial carcinoma, osteosarcoma, laryngeal carcinoma, etc., and associated with the clinicopathological characteristics and prognostic factors of cancer patients [6–13].
