MBP and fetal growth restriction: When we evaluated these white matter tracks using 3D reconstruction techniques and Imaris filament analysis, we found that while no deficits were detected in hippocampal myelination in male IUGR mice at P60, the area (μm2), volume (μm3), and length (μm) of myelinated axons (MBP+) were decreased in the CA1 of IUGR female mice at P60 (all p < 0.05 vs. sham, n = 7 per group; Fig. 4b1–b3).
