We found that the expression of KIF2C was significantly elevated in breast cancer patients under 60 years of age compared with those over 60 years of age (Fig. 2A). Furthermore, KIF2C expression in breast cancer patients with stage II and III was higher than that in breast cancer patients with stage I (Fig. 2B). In addition, KIF2C was upregulated in breast cancer patients with stage T2 compared with breast cancer patients with stage T1 (Fig. 2C). However, there was no significant difference in KIF2C expression between breast cancer patients with different stages N (Fig. 2D). This evidence concerns the gene KIF2C and breast carcinoma.
