In a systemic review and meta-analysis which included 8 trials that slightly vary in their methodology, Zhu et al.28 examined thromboembolic events among ALK/ROS1-positive patients and reported an odds ratio of 2.1 for VTE in patients with ALK-positive NSCLC, in line with our study findings. This evidence concerns the gene ROS1 and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
