It can be seen from the violin plots and ROC curves that the CDH11 expression was obviously higher in the OSCC than in the non-cancer oral specimen in most of the RNA-seq dataset and microarrays, and overexpressed CDH11 exhibited preferable performance in distinguishing between the OSCC and non-cancer oral samples (Figs. 4 and 5). The gene discussed is CDH11; the disease is cancer.
