In addition, in other types of cancer investigated including colorectal (n = 208), hepatocellular (n = 208), endometrial (n = 93) carcinomas, cholangiocarcinomas (n = 106) and pulmonary adenocarcinomas (n = 49), only 3 and 1 of the latter two showed > 1% staining, which again suggests that TRPS1 is not only sensitive, but also specific for breast carcinomas in general, and TNBC is no exception to high sensitivity [27]. Here, TRPS1 is linked to breast carcinoma.
