CD8A and hypertensive disorder: As shown in Figure 3A, the abundance of CD8 TEM cells was markedly elevated in the peripheral blood of patients with hypertension [percentage: HTN vs. NC, 0.63 vs. 0.47, respectively; p = 0.0065], and the ratio of CD8 TEM cells to CD8 naïve T cells was significantly increased [percentage: HTN vs. NC, 0.038 vs. 0.016, respectively; p = 0.0006].
