STEAP3 and glioma: In our study, the DNA methylation levels of STEAP3 in high-grade glioma were significantly lower than those in low-grade glioma, and the methylation levels of multiple methylated CpG sites were significantly negatively correlated with STEAP3 expression, indicating that low levels of STEAP3 promoter methylation are responsible for the overexpression of STEAP3 in glioma.
