In sepsis samples, significant positive correlations were found between six hub genes (STOM, BATF, CASP4, MT1F, CFLAR, UROD) and the pathways of glycolysis, bile acid metabolism, adipogenesis, cholesterol homeostasis and xenobiotic metabolism, while the pathways of glycolysis, bile acid metabolism, adipogenesis, cholesterol homeostasis and xenobiotic metabolism showed negative correlations with MAP3K14 (Figure 5E). Here, CASP4 is linked to Sepsis.
